In Tamil devotional tradition, Andal's Killi, her parrot, is her companion and her messenger. The lotus in her hand is her offering. This illustration by artist Aarthi holds both, rendered with the kind of reverence that comes from someone who grew up with these images and chose to return to them.

Aarthi is a medical doctor who became a full-time illustrator. Her work draws from temple aesthetics and deity iconography, not as nostalgia, but as a living visual language she continues to speak.

This is a Hastha x Aarthi collaboration. The design is hers. The printing is ours. Available in black and grey. Margazhi-ready. Colourful enough to wear any time of year.

Every piece is hand block printed by neurodivergent adults trained by Hastha Foundation.
Where are you based?

We're based in Anna Nagar, Chennai.
What are the shipping charges?

Shipping within India is free. For international orders, the cost depends on parcel weight and destination — you'll see the exact charge at checkout once you enter your shipping address.
Can prints be customised?

Yes. Write to us at 9940020264, Mon to Sat, between 10 am and 5 pm, and we'll talk through what you have in mind.
What is your exchange policy?

We don't offer returns or refunds, but exchanges for a different size or product are easy. If an exchange isn't possible, we'll issue store credit you can use within 6 months. No exchanges/refunds on customised products.
How much time does it take to ship?

We ship within two working days. But customised work will take more time.
