The Fretwork is a women's blouse in deep burgundy with a dense block print running across the entire surface — dark on dark, the pattern emerging gradually rather than announcing itself from across the room. Named after the interlocking latticework found in jaali screens and carved architectural panels, it earns that reference.

Designed to sit under a saree. Bold enough not to need one. Cut for the Indian woman's body, with the kind of deliberate fit that comes from designing for a specific person rather than adjusting a standard template.

Every inch of this surface was covered one wooden block at a time, by adults for whom this level of careful, repeating work is where they are most at home. For the woman who lets the fabric do the talking.

Every piece is hand block printed by neurodivergent adults trained by Hastha Foundation.
Where are you based?

We are based in Anna Nagar, Chennai.
What are the shipping charges?

Shipping within India is free. For international orders, the cost depends on the package weight and destination — the exact charges will be visible at checkout, once you enter your shipping address.
Can prints be customised?

Yes. Write to us at 9940020264, Mon to Sat, between 10 am and 6 pm, and we will talk through what you have in mind.
What is your exchange policy?

We do not offer returns or refunds, but exchanges for a different size or product are easy. If an exchange isn't possible, we issue store credit that you can use within 6 months. No exchanges/refunds on customised products.
How much time does it take to ship?

We ship within 2 - 4 working days. Customised orders take 2 - 3 weeks.
